Breast Reduction Surgery
Breast reduction is one of the most common plastic surgeries we perform. It is also a procedure that yields extremely high patient satisfaction. The primary goal of breast reduction surgery is to relieve symptoms associated with large, heavy and pendulous breasts. These symptoms often include neck, shoulder and back pain, shoulder grooving, and rashes beneath the breasts. The secondary goals, of course, include a more shapely breast, a lifted breast and correction of nipple changes that occur with large size and age.
There are many techniques that can achieve a smaller breast and I am comfortable with all of them. I have over 15 years of experience with breast reduction and have even developed modifications of my own that lead to improved results and longer lasting corrections. All methods of breast reduction require incisions and scars on the breasts are an unavoidable but we are usually able to place these scars where they are not very visible.
Breast reduction is usually covered by insurance. More information about the consultation can be found on the Consultation Page.
